Numerous firsts are occurring daily as you can see. Her first trip to Washington D.C. where grandma and grandpa were incredibly gracious hosts; where she started standing pretty much on her own. Her first trip to the Capital. Her first visit (including Mom) inside the cockpit of a plane. Just in case you were wondering, MAK was great except for a minor blowout on the outbound flight. Back at home, she started her first solid food with rice cereal and is a champ at that minus a little problem with keeping it all in her mouth but how could we even mention this considering many of us still eat the same was as adults. :) She now loves her exersaucer and the baby bungy jumper. So much that she gets a little cranky when we pull her away from both. The only problem we are experiencing is that she doens't want to nap really at all throughout the day; it kind of keeps mom and dad constantly on their toes but that is certainly okay!

Lets see, her latest measurements are a little old but she is about 80% height, 85% weight at 15.6 lbs, and 27% head.

It has been fun since I last posted. Little MAK has really started to raise her motor skills to the next level. She loves to try and stand and she can actually pull things from her mouth and hold on to them. As any inquisitive person would be then asking, can she put it back into her mouth. Well only if her mouth was a foot in either direction. She needs just a little more time for that one. She has experienced her first good cold but it wasn't too bad. The cold slowed her pudgyness down a little. She is weighing in at a slower 75% scale at 15 lbs. The good side is that her head didn't slow down as fast so her perportions are looking better. :) We are off to DC soon so wish us luck (the good kind!) on her first flight.
